Early Reports Indicate Actos Bladder Cancer Lawsuits Will Be in the Thousands

Dozens of national law firms have stated flooding the airwaves with Actos bladder cancer lawsuit advertisements on TV, in print and online. This is the result of multiple cancer warnings about prolonged Actos use by the FDA and European pharmaceutical regulatory agencies. Germany suspended the prescription of Actos to new patients and it was recalled in France. With all of the new scrutiny, it’s not surprising that many of the affected users are now contemplating filing an Actos bladder cancer lawsuit. Most feel that these lawsuits are well-justified for a variety of reasons. While everyone is aware of the scary list of side effects that go along with most medications, cancer isn’t one that we recognize; perhaps that will now change. Initial discovery in the early Actos bladder cancer lawsuits suggests that the drug’s manufacturer may have been aware of the elevated bladder cancer risks in some of the earliest Actos tests. As the number of Actos bladder cancer lawsuits increase, more information will undoubtedly come to the surfact. It may only be then that the public becomes fully aware of the number of Actos users who developed bladder cancer as well as just when the drug manufacturer and the FDA knew there was a problem and what they did about it. Perhaps most importantly, the FDA will learn how they can prevent this from happening again in the future.
